Would you like to become a confident Yoga Teacher, while deepening your own practice and knowledge of Yoga – This is the course for you.

A comprehensive 200 hour Teacher Training Course that has been designed by  Yoga teachers to bring in all the elements necessary not only to become a confident and knowledgeable teacher, but also to cultivate a genuine love of your own Yoga practice, and to be able to share this love with others.

Yvonne, the Lead Teacher has been studying and practising yoga for 25 years. Over this time she has been learning from her own dedicated students, studying under older, wiser teachers and constantly working on her own practice both on and off the mat. This course is the result of her unwavering passion for all aspects of yoga.

Over 6 months you will not only learn the fundamentals needed to be a knowledgeable teacher, but you will be inspired to move deeper into philosophical aspect of yoga and its many facets.


ASANA – The Ashtanga Primary Sequence and the Fundamentals will form the basis of the course. Understanding this mind and body transforming practice gives you the freedom and confidence to create your own sequences, to have fun exploring your own practice and to be able to design your classes for different levels and abilities.

PRANAYAMA + MEDITATION – You will explore and practise a variety of pranayama (breath) techniques. You will learn how to encourage your students to create time to still and calm their mind. Meditation is about clearing the mind, like anything, you need to practise to see results. To be able to teach you need to know the benefits, during this course you will learn to understand the magic of meditation and the power of breath.

THE 8 LIMBS of YOGA – The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali (a text that will be used) refers to “8 Limbs of Yoga”. Each of which offer guidance on how to live a meaningful, healthy, happy and purposeful life. You will explore each one and how to incorporate them into your daily life. Yoga is not all about what happens on the mat, “The 8 Limbs” offer practical guidance on how to be our very best self and to view the world in a very open minded, accepting way.

ANATOMY – Understanding and identifying the major bones, muscles, joints and movements of the body and relating this knowledge to your own practice. Once you understand the mechanics and movements of the parts you cannot see – It allows you to become a much more insightful teacher. On this course you will cover the benefits and the purpose of each asana and look at how to adapt poses to suit individual bodies. This module will be led by Sheenagh Sexton qualified physiotherapist, acupuncturist and mindful movement teacher.

AYURVEDIC YOGIC FOODS – Ayurveda is a form of holistic medicine. It focuses on promoting balance between your body and mind. You will explore how to find out what foods work for each individual body, and how you can eat for energy and for well-being. There will be Yoga/Vegan cooking day, where you watch, learn and eat.

ETHICS & BUSINESS – We will explore

• How to share your knowledge with students.

• How to find your own teaching voice and style and create your own community of students.

• How to establish yourself as a freelance teacher.

• How to create an Online presence.

• The workings and running of a Yoga Studio.


• Your 200 hour Teacher Training manual.

• One to one mentoring with each student exploring where your want to go

with your yoga practice and Teacher Training Diploma.

• Your Ayurveda recipes, food + demonstrations

• Your Anatomy Course module – Led by Sheenagh Sexton: Practising physiotherapist and Acupuncturist for over 25 years

• All Guest speakers and Teachers

• All Graduating Students will be awarded the Yoga Alliance Professionals Certificate of Training. This is a world wide recognized accreditation. YAP will offer all qualified students competitive Teacher Insurance and YAP membership.

10 Weekends – With One to One attention where necessary.
